Sean S.
Ameli, MD, FACC, FACP, FCCP
graduated from Northwestern University School of Medicine. He completed
his internship, residency, chief residency, and fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Ameli served as full time faculty at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he performed
extensive basic and clinical research in the treatment of dyslipidemia. He is board
certified in both internal medicine and cardiology. Dr. Ameli has been elected as a Fellow
of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians, and the
American College of Chest Physicians. He is also a Member of the Nevada State Medical Association, and Clark County Medical Society. Dr. Ameli
is currently Secretary of Staff, and has served two terms as Chief of Cardiology at MountainView Hospital. He is
President of the Las Vegas Valley Division of the American Heart Association,
and is the Nevada Chairman of the Get With The Guidelines Program. Dr.
Ameli has also received the American Heart Association Man of the Year award.
Additionally, he has served as the moderator of the annual Joint California-Nevada
Cardiovascular Symposium of Las Vegas. Dr. Ameli practices general cardiology including treatment of severe
dyslipidemia, and performs transesophageal echocardiography. He is married, and has two children. |
