Foad Moazez, MD, FACC, FCCP
graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at the San Fernando Valley Program in affiliation with UCLA Hospital. Dr. Moazez underwent fellowship training in general cardiology and electrophysiology, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, and electrophysiology. Dr. Moazez has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and American College of Chest Physicians. He is also a Member of the Heart Rhythm Society, Nevada State Medical Association, and Clark County Medical Society. Dr. Moazez started the clinical electrophysiology and implantable defibrillator program at Sunrise Hospital, where he served two terms as Chairman of the Allied Health Care Committee, and and was a member of the Credentials Committee. He is currently serving a second term as Chief of Cardiology at MountainView Hospital. Dr. Moazez practices general cardiology with special interests in the treatment of abnormal heart rhythms, and pacemaker/defibrillator placement and monitoring. He is married, and has three children.
